Before the inception of DXPEN, owner Daniel “DP” Price started a live dance podcast in 2018. Its purpose was to reach out to the world that loved Memphis Jookin desiring to build awareness of The Jook book. One of the mid-season guests on the show was Phyouture and that episode sparked the idea to present DxPJookin Tutorials in 2020. The series showed learners that Jookin takes more concentration than just footwork. DP began to see the Jook as a way to practice problem-solving if the book is taught properly with style development.
In 2015, The second edition of the Jook Book | Chapter 1: Bounce Therapy was released to express the style in a way of modern understanding. In the release, G-Rhythms were introduced from the perspective of dance video game production to help dancers learn to cue sound patterns. This helps learners identify the four difficulty levels of rhythm for Jookin and funk styles. Each level contains variables that relate to the basic rhythms of a beat.
In April 2020, DxP launched a live Jookin class called LABN (Learn A Bounce Note) Online. The class is elaborate with detailed lessons from The Jook book and lectures explaining the Jookin style, history, and culture. With G-Rhythms, LABN has created a productive learning environment with students abroad and is still running weekly. The "G" in G-Rhythms was once called gravitational, but LABN has proved that the basic rhythms are general. They only require an individual's unique logic of how to move with them.
LEARN DANCE
Since 2012, the mission to usher street dance properly into mobile and console gaming has been the mission of DP and his business group. Though it has not been practical on a non-industrial budget, it has been worth the journey of learning new ways that technology evolves. In 2022, we saw NFTs and cryptocurrency take their first downfall. With it came a similar but worse impact on the many sectors in the stock market.
It encourages the question .... What if it all goes away?
In that regard, DXPEN had a plan when the NFT circus went wild. DP created a printable trading card game based on his own graphic novel. He experimented along with associates in the market by creating a Discord server titled Soljahz. There was a smooth blueprint for an organized real-world enterprise in the trading card industry through the NFT market. DP built the game and server tirelessly with no shameless campaigning because much work is to be done. While he hid behind his NFT identity to spread awareness on Twitter, it was clear that the market was already rigged. All the hype and rave had not phased DP until user-created cryptocurrencies appeared on various blockchains. Then it all crashed, but not DP's ambition. This is an all-timer on the way.
The Discord is back in full effect and everyone is invited to watch it grow in one or two ways. The main channel will feature trading card library threads to show you how the game is made. The premium channel is an audio-book collection that will feature graphics generated by AI and handpicked by DP to show the art styles, world descriptions, and locations of stories. The book is broken down into mini-series for modern reading. It is currently being produced as a digital graphic novel illustrated by B3 Productions and Universal Phoenix Group.
TRADING CARDS
What if there was no next chapter for Earth? What if everything just disappeared into the cosmos... the hard way?
That's where this story had to go in 2024 AD: The End of Reality to create the Shurikoin Megaverse division of the company. DXPEN wants to produce the infinite potential that Soljahz was born from to become a catalyst for new novels. Soljahz begins in a chronicled history, The Book of Ninjalana. The story expresses world-building details and legendary characters that awaken the path to war between two varying biological races. Many surprises await in stories set before and after the Soljahz saga. However, Soljahz sets the stage for a megaverse series that spin-off its timeline into new worlds, all connected to After Reality.
Soljahz is what can be referred to as a magical ninja tech fantasy. Its presentation takes you from a prehistoric layout of the planet. Witness the planet's people and locations evolve. Its climactic generational history births a cultural trifecta of technology, magic, and cosmic energy colliding toward supernatural warfare. With two planetary gods governing each side's destiny, war is inevitable. The Book of Ninjalana audiobook is now streaming on Discord.
